This week I am going to feature a local business! Everyone from Bloomington knows that one of the best things here is our Farmers Market! It is such a wonderful way to spend a Saturday morning. You get up, walk down the B-line trail, grab a freshly roasted coffee and danish, and peruse through dozens of local vendors. At this market you can find the most beautiful produce, eggs, flowers, maple syrup, and honey. One of my favorite vendors is Bryant Farm operated by Kim Bryant, my momma! Her stand is found on the west end right off of the B-line trail during the regular market season May to October. Bryant Farm is located in Ellettsville and every vegetable offered is grown from seed on the farm. This years crop has already started and the little baby sprouts are adorable! New to the farm this year is a high tunnel which will encourage the growth of cold weather produce such as peas and carrots. The Bloomington Farmers Market is a family fun activity where you can pick up locally grown healthy food and enjoy a festive atmosphere. My children love not only helping work on the farm they also have a great time at the Farmers Market each week. I encourage you to experience the Farmers Market and seek out Bryant Farm!
